We are dedicated to bringing an end to domestic violence by:
• Empowering victims to make informed choices
through advocacy, referrals and support groups.
• Providing the largest domestic violence community
resource library in the Pacific Northwest.
• Offering emotional support to victim’s loved ones
through counseling and support groups.
• Enhancing public awareness regarding the effects
domestic violence on our community and how we
can bring an end to the violence together.
Friends and Family Support Groups
Domestic Violence Friends & Family Support Group was created by Domestic Violence Advocacy Services out of Everett Washington. The purpose of this group is to create a supportive and educational environment for friends and family of domestic violence victims and survivors. It is often the case that we have loved ones in a violent situation and feel out of control or helpless. It is our intention to help you understand domestic violence and be supportive to your loved ones. We will also provide a safe environment for you to discuss your situation to gain understanding. We welcome you.
It is held at the Everett Colby Campus of Providence Hospital in the Mt. Adams room.
